The solemn swearing-in ceremony of the recruits took place in the N military unit of the Border Guard Troops the RA National Security Service. The Deputy Director of the RA NSS, Major General Aram Hakobyan, Commander of the Border Guard Troops, Colonel Arman Maralchyan, 1st Deputy Commander-Chief of staff, Colonel Arman Gasparyan, representatives of the regional subdivisions of the RA National Security Service and others were present at the event.
The solemn ceremony started with the sounds of the RA anthem. A solemn parade was held during the ceremony and the recruits sang the anthem of the RA NSS Border Guard Troops.
The main protocol part of the symbolic event - the solemn ceremony of taking the oath - was held under the battle banner on the parade ground of the military unit. The recruits read out the text of the Military Oath and, in the presence of commanders and parents, swore to serve the Motherland with pride, selflessness and full dedication, honorably defend the country's borders, unconditionally obey the orders of the superiors, assuring that they would do everything to ensure the security of the State Border.
The Commander of the RA NSS Border Guard Troops, Colonel Arman Maralchyan, congratulating the recruits on the memorable day, wished them a peaceful and safe service.
“I congratulate you on this day of special significance and meaning. I wish you health, strong will, cloudless skies, good service and a good return to your homes. At the same time, I call on to you to excel each other in military knowledge and skills, discipline and to bear the high name of the border guard with honor”.
Military servicemen of the Border Guard Troops demonstrated combat tactical tricks, and the Cynology Center demonstrated combat exercises with service dogs.
