As a result of the analysis and combination of factual data obtained from the materials prepared within the framework of targeted operative-search measures taken by the employees of the Lori Regional Department of the RA National Security Service, it was established that the co-founders of one of the organizations operating in the RA, being aware that one of the economic entities is interested in the process of acquiring real estate "Elevator Producing Factory " CJSC in Spitak city of Lori province, which was put up for sale due to forced bankruptcy, under purchase and sale agreements worth 99.635.200 and 131.179.315 AMD, acquired respectively the workshop of the former plant with an area of 4135.5 sq. m with its own land plot of 0.28 ha and a workshop with an area of 9766.2 with its own land plot of 1.28 ha.

The co-founders of the mentioned organization, by prior agreement with the employees of the economic entity interested in acquiring the above-mentioned property, using their authority in the mentioned organization, existing relations with the governing bodies, abused their trust and influencing their consciousness, by misleading, obtained the consent of the latter to sell the real estate they had acquired at their desired value. Then, real estate purchase and sale agreements were concluded, as a result of which the previously acquired real estate worth 99.635.200 AMD was resold to the organization for 165.260.400 AMD, and the property purchased for 131.179.315 AMD was resold for 398.739.600 AMD, thus committing theft by fraud from the organization on an especially large scale, in the amount of 334.185.485 AMD.

At the same time, based on the materials, factual data were obtained that in 2017, the person holding the position of the head of Spitak community of Lori province, without following the procedures established by law and agreeing with the relevant state bodies, by a single decision gave permission to the organization for demolition and under these conditions, the organization dismantled the buildings of the former "Elevator Producing Factory " CJSC in Spitak city and moved them to another location.

In connection with the incident, in the Investigation Department of the RA National Security Service a criminal case was initiated on the grounds of the relevant articles of the RA Criminal Code which was sent to the RA Investigative Committee for preliminary investigation.

Note: The suspect or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent as long as his guilt is not proven in a manner prescribed by the Code of Criminal Procedure of RA - by the court decision entered into legal force.
