The National Security Service informs that on 16 November, 2021 on various social platforms and websites, Azerbaijanis are spreading disinformation messages, which, in particular, contain calls to start “terrorist” telephone actions against Armenians in order to cause panic among the population of the Republic of Armenia (Друзья, просим Вас начать компанию телефонного террора против армян). In these messages, it is recommended to dial the country code +374, then all phone codes 91, 99, 43, 77, 93, 94, 98 of mobile operators, then dial any 7-digit number and send voice or text messages in Russian with an appeal immediately leave the towns and settlements bordering Azerbaijan.

At the same time, it is called to spread messages, according to which the towns and settlements of Meghri, Kapan, Kajaran, Jermuk, Tatev, Goris, Tegh, Sisian, Angeghakot will soon be occupied by the Azerbaijani armed forces, and that these lands have already been surrendered to Azerbaijan, as well as disseminate information that “Yashma” and sabotage groups of Azerbaijani special services are already in these settlements.

The RA NSS urges to be vigilant, to disregard possible suspicious calls and messages.
