On the work done by the units of the RA NSS, the materials submitted to the competent state bodies of RA, and their results for January-September 2021

In January-September 2021, as a result of performing functions assigned to it by law, 772 materials or initial information was transferred by the RA National Security Service to various competent state bodies of RA to decide their further course in the manner prescribed by law, on the basis of which 217 criminal cases were initiated.

During the same period, the Investigation Department of the RA NSS transferred 149 criminal cases to other bodies by subordination, of which 127 - to the RA Investigative Committee, 14 - to the Special Investigative Service, 8 - to the RA State Revenue Committee.

According to the preliminary assessment, in the mentioned 149 criminal cases alone, the total amount of damage caused by the crime amounted to 20.967.661.169 AMD and 18.880 USD, of which the initial damage caused to the state amounted to 20.809.387.555 AMD, to legal entities –153.530.985 AMD and for individuals –4.742.629 AMD and 18.880 USD.

In parallel, during the same period, a total of 264 criminal cases were initiated in the Investigation Department of the RA NSS, of which the predominant part - 188 criminal cases were initiated on the basis of materials prepared by the National Security Bodies.

During the mentioned period, in the criminal cases initiated and investigated by the Investigation Department of the RA NSS, according to a preliminary assessment, the total amount of damage caused by the crime amounted to 24.607.971.770 AMD, of which the initial damage caused to the state amounted to 24.378.963.387 AMD, legal persons - 80.752.153 AMD, and individuals - 148.256.230 AMD. At the same time, 566.199.139 AMD was recovered from the damage caused to the state, and 5.907.732 AMD from the damage caused to individuals.
