From the very first moments of the hostilities unleashed against the Republic of Artsakh, the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, within the framework of its functions, organized the implementation of relevant works conditioned by the situation and established by law.

In parallel with official processes, the National Security Bodies were also actively involved directly in the military actions, and numerous employees of the system took a heroic part in the sacred cause of defending the Motherland.

In the course of the military operations that began on 27 September, 46 servicemen of the RA NSS Border Guard Troops fell heroically, 191 heroes were wounded, and the whereabouts of the 2 valiant border guards are still being specified at the moment.

The families of all servicemen worthy of eternal glory, appreciation and honor will always be in the center of attention of the National Security System, and the maximum best will be done to support and help the latter, in connection with which relevant clear instructions have been given by the leadership of the RA NSS.

The National Security Service of the RA once again bows before the memory of all heroically fallen colleagues, wishes a speedy recovery to all wounded colleagues, reiterates that their names have already found their firm place on the glorious pages of the remarkable history of the system.
