As a result operative-search measures taken by the RA National Security Service, it was established that employees of the special services of the Republic of Azerbaijan use the telephone numbers of various mobile operators in the Republic of Armenia, and making calls to RA citizens on these numbers under the pretext of conducting independent researches, allegedly perform opinion polls to obtain intelligence information on the situation in the Republic of Armenia, especially in the Armed Forces. In particular, similar phone calls were recorded from various mobile phone numbers in Armenia.

The National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia calls on RA citizens not to establish communication, transmit data or answer suspicious phone calls, but to respond to independent research requests only after identifying the caller and making sure that his data are correct.
