The National Security Service of RA deems appropriate to inform that the information, titled “The NSS threatened judge Vahagn Melikyan” on “PastInfo” information site on 3 July, 2020, that allegedly “the judge of the Avan residence of the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan, Vahagn Melikyan, was called to the NSS”, does not correspond to reality.

The National Security Service of RA once again calls on all mass media to refrain from the modus operandi of disseminating unspecified news and misinformation that cast doubt on the reputation of the state structure among the public, and, at the same time reminds that the current law criminalizes the obstruction of justice and investigation.
