From May 22 to 23, the Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia, Colonel Eduard Martirosyan and the Deputy Director of the NSS of the RA, Major General Aram Hakobyan visited the outposts (Armenian-Iranian border) of the RA NSS Border Guard Troops.

Director of the RA NSS E․ Martirosyan emphasized the noticeable achievements of the current state of the detachment, positively assessed the service held in such difficult climatic conditions, at the same time he pointed out the existing problems and gave instructions to eliminate them.

During the visit, E. Martirosyan awarded private A. Hovhannisyan the title of junior sergeant for detecting a case of border violation and arresting the border trespasser.
