The RA NSS within the framework of the implementation of the preventive measures aimed at solving various problems concerning the spread of coronavirus, in the manner prescribed by law also with daily regime monitors the disseminated news in the media sphere and the social networks.

In particular, the RA NSS detected users registеred in social networks whose posts contained disinformation about fictitious cases of death from coronavirus in RA. The survey showed that hackers, in some cases from the Republic of Azerbaijan have broken Armenian users profiles and spread disinformation.

The RA NSS urges the users of social networks to maintain the security rules of their profiles as much as possible and calls upon public to trust only official sources.
