On February 27 Interim Director Eduard Martirosyan awarded to the resident of border community Bagaran of the RA Armavir Marz Habet Ghazaryan with precious gift - a watch for vigilance and correct orientation to detect an infiltree and to pass over him to the border guards, as a result of which further movement of the latter within the territory of the Republic of Armenia was prevented.
The criminal case was initiated in the Investigation Department of RA on the fact of an apparent crime according to the corresponding articles of the RA Criminal Code.

Note: The suspect or accused of an alleged crime is considered innocent as long as his/her guilt is not proven in a manner prescribed by the Code of Criminal Procedure of RA - by the court decision entered into legal force.

The National Security Service urges citizens of the RA particularly, residents of border community to support the security bodies in ensuring border security, to exercise the utmost caution and cooperate actively to prevent such cases.
