The tragic news of Georgi Kutoyan’s untimely demise was painful and shocking.

During the short period of leading the National Security Service of Armenia, Georgi Kutoyan managed to gain the trust and respect of his colleagues. He was an educated, diligent officer with a strong sense of responsibility, high professional skills, and, despite his young age, he was also an experienced official.

I am sure that not only the authority which is investigating the circumstances of Georgi Kutoyan’s death, but all other law enforcement authorities of RA as well, including the NSS, will make every possible effort within their functions to give comprehensive answers to the numerous questions causing this tragedy.

On behalf of the personnel of the National Security Service of RA and on my own behalf, I express deep condolences to Georgi Kutoyan’s family, friends, relatives and colleagues.
