We were deeply grieved to learn about the death of the outstanding intelligence officer Gohar Vardanyan. Books have been written and movies have been made about the great deeds in intelligence performed by the legendary and heroic couple Gohar and Gevork Vardanyans. Even after many decades an important part of their extensive work is still not declassified.

Gohar Vardanyan is among those Armenians who crowned their names, as well as the name of their people, with glory by their complete devotion to the Homeland and by their impeccable professionalism.
