NSS Director Participated in an Event on the Occasion of RA MES Employee’s Day
On September 4, Artur Vanetsyan, Director of the National Security Service of RA, participated in a ceremonial event at the parade ground of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of RA on the occasion of MES employee's day. RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other high-ranking officials were present at the ceremony.
The military band of the RA MES announced the start of “Ceremonial march”, and the participants of the parade walked to the parade ground. The columns of the officers of different subdivisions of the Rescue Service marched along the square.
Welcoming and congratulatory speeches were delivered by the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Minister of Emergency Situations Feliks Tsolakyan and others.
NSS Director Artur Vanetsyan noted in his congratulatory speech that the rescuer's day is the best opportunity to express deep appreciation for the difficult job that is measured by prevented tragedies and rescued human lives.
“The main components of your work, operational response and provision of effective assistance, you carry out with high commitment. I extend my best wishes to you and offer assistance to your efforts to jointly address the issues faced by MES Service, for the benefit of our country and people,” said A. Vanetsyan.
A.Vanetsyan awarded the Minister of Emergency Situations F. Tsolakyan with medal “For Combat Cooperation” for having contributed to the strengthening of cooperation between RA NSS and MES, to the implementation of joint measures and on the occasion of professional holiday. Three senior officers of the RS of MES were also awarded with medals and badges by NSS Director.
