In the National Security Service of RA, a session of the council adjunct to Director was held; the session was conducted by Director of NSS of RA Artur Vanetsyan. Deputies to Director, heads of the central authority and regional divisions of NSS were present at the session. 

Issues concerning the fight against international terrorism, the enhancement of ensuring border security, the prevention and suppression of possible subversive infiltrations, the domestic security, the protection of constitutional order of RA and neutralization of the threats directed against it, as well as other related issues were discussed during the meeting.   

Wrapping up the results of the reports on the issues of the agenda, of speeches and discussions, NSS Director strictly assessed the works conducted in separate areas. According to his assessment, the results of those works in some directions were unsatisfactory; Director emphasized that there was a necessity to improve them and to set a higher bar. 

A.Vanetsyan gave instructions to heads of the central authority and separate regional divisions to regularly analyze operational situation and international developments, to implement innovative technologies and methods in the service, to increase the efficiency of cooperation with other state authorities and partner organizations, as well as, if necessary, to initiate legislative changes.
