The regular Session of the Council of the Heads of Security Bodies and Special Services of the CIS member-states took place in Dushanbe
On May 21 2019, the delegation of RA National Security Service, headed by Director Artur Vanetsyan, participated in the 46th Session of the Council of the Heads of Security Bodies and Special Services of the CIS member-states that took place in Dushanbe.
The president of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, received the heads of the delegations of Security Bodies and Special Services of the CIS member-states.
The delegations of the State Security Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan, the State Security Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan also participated in the works of the session.
The delegations of the CIS Executive Committee, Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS member-states, Foreign Intelligence Services of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the session as invitees.
The current issues related to the collaboration of the CIS member-states in the field of international terrorism, extremism, fight against organized crime, as well as other agreed areas of the activities of security bodies were discussed during the session. As a result of the discussions a number of decisions were made and relevant documents were signed.
