On September 4, on the initiative of the MIA Border Police of Georgia, a meeting between the representatives of the Border Guards of Armenia and Georgia took place at Tsiteli Khidi area of the Armenian-Georgian state border.
During the meeting issues on the protection of the state border regime, exchange of information on the situation, enhancing the security of the state border and other issues were discussed. During this meeting the parties signed the Protocol.
