Armenia and Iran were and will be Friendly Countries: Ambassador Seyed Kazem Sadjadi Paid an Introductory Visit to NSS
Director of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan received a visit from the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Seyed Kazem Sadjadi.
Having welcomed the Ambassador, Director noted that Iran for Armenia was a friendly country with which strong co-operation and firm working relationship were of great importance.
At the beginning of the meeting Ambassador Sadjadi congratulated A. Vanetsyan on his appointment as Director of the National Security Service, and then touched upon the issue of cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador confirmed as well that Armenia and Iran were and would be friendly countries and expressed his confidence that the strong co-operation established earlier would continue and would become deeper for the benefit of the two countries.
S. Sadjadi stated that Iran had no restrictions for Armenia and that necessary activities were currently taken to identify new directions for co-operation.
Having touched upon the issues of those areas where the cooperation was conducted, A. Vanetsyan stated that Armenia had a special approach to tourism issues and that Armenia was attaching importance to the fact that recently there had been an active flow of citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran, taking a keen interest in Armenia. Director assured that the best was done to ensure the security of tourists.
At the end of his visit to the National Security Service of RA, Ambassador Seyed Kazem Sadjadi thanked for the warm welcome and productive meeting.
