On 10-11 August the delegation of the National Security Service of RA, chaired by the Director Artur Vanetsyan, made a two day working visit to the Artsakh Republic. In the course of the visit the leadership had an official meeting with the President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan and the leadership of the NSS and Defense Army.
The two sides agreed to deepen the cooperation between the two Republics in the security field and give a new start to joint projects in all possible directions while prioritizing the engagement only in justified activities.
The NSS leadership gave tribute and put flowers in the common grave of the victims of Karabakh war.
In the course of his visit to the Artsakh Republic the Director of the NSS attended one of the military units in south eastern direction, got acquainted with the daily life of soldiers and service.
Afterwards director Vanetsyan was on the frontline, where he observed the operational and tactical environment on-site, talked with soldiers and familiarized with their social-living conditions and combat duty.
