On August 8, Director of the RA National Security Service Arthur Vanetsyan visited the administrative complex of the Border Troops of the National Security Service of the RA.
The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the on-site work process and to discuss with the leading staff the carried-out works of the previous six months.
The Commander of the Border troops Colonel Vaghinak Sargsyan presented the semiannual report and referred to the current problems.
Following the report and progress reports on organizational works, the Director of the Service made his remarks and instructed them to make the according corrections as soon as possible.
The structural changes anticipated in the Border Troops were also discussed during the visit. The Director emphasized that these changes will only contribute to more effective and coordinated work of the already established military structure.
The RA NSS Director A. Vanetsyan also took a walk in the complex of the NSS Border Troops, visited the vehicle fleet, and got acquainted with the conditions of the sports complex and cynology center.
